Congratulations Jesse Guydish - 2007 PA BAR Championship

Congratulations to Jesse Guydish who has raced tirelessly all season to comfortably win the 2007 Pennsylvania BAR (Best All-Around Racer) Championship.

In only his third year of racing, many times solo against teams with much experience, Jesse managed to win the championship while making it all look easy.

Tuesday Night Road Rides End for Season

Due to limited daylight, the Tuesday Night C Ride leaving from Sicklers will end after Tuesday, September 18.

We will leave Sicklers promptly at 6 PM on Tuesday, September 18.

Thank you to everyone who has attended and supported this popular group ride, specifically Chuck Trotta, Sean Tompkins and Bryan Shafer who have attended every week and been helpful to me and all the riders.

We look forward to riding together next season.

Congratulations - Chuck Trotta and Jesse Guydish

Congratulations to Chuck Trotta and Jesse Guydish who raced Saturday, September 8 at the Apple Festival Bike Race in Montrose.

Chuck Trotta got his first win in the 13 mile Cat 5 Beginners race.

Jesse cruised to an impressive Fourth in the 26 mile Pro 1, 2, 3 race.

Also, Chris Von Ahnen who placed 10th in the 13 mile Cat 5 Beginners race.

Another great day of racing and another show of strength from our Race Team.

Congratulations to everyone who pinned on a number and took it to the line!

UpState Velo - New Home

We've made some changes at UpState Velo. Members are welcome to join and use our forum to let other's know where you're racing or riding.

If you know of an upcoming event, please feel free to let us know so we can add it to the calendar and we can all make plans to attend.

As usual, you can use our email listserv to post mass-mail announcements to club members. The new email address to post is: upstatevelo@upstatevelo.com. One important change: To Respond to the group, users MUST "REPLY ALL". Just hitting reply will ONLY reply to the sender of the message.

Other than that, the email listserv is identical to the way it has always been.
